I just spoke to Shirlene Sue at LAWA ...she oversees the following:

Airport Permit Services

• Charter/Limos/tour buses

• Private Parking Courtesy shuttles (e.g. Wally Park and Parking Spot)

• Hotel/Motel Courtesy shuttles (e.g. DSS, Best Western)

• Schedule Service (Mickey’s, Shuttle One, Ventura County Airporter)

• Airfield NELAs

• CSPP

• Airfield Motor Vehicle Permits (non-construction)

She said that they are aware of the problem and trying to work with LAWA PD to help with the problem.
LAWA staff is reluctant to meet with us because they don’t have a solution that can be enforced.

She suggested that we work with LAWA PD, LAPD, DOT, and the taxi / limo companies.

We discussed reporting Cab # or TCP # of offenders to LAWA, and that LAWA would restrict them from serving
LAX for 90 days or so. However, this is difficult to enforce.

So, Fred / Jessica, can you help me set up a meeting with the various agencies???
